  • Pitch Clinics:

    • TBA

    • *NOTE: Participating teams are required to have at least one member attend the pitch clinic

  • Science and Technology Showcase: January 25th, 2022

 
ELIGIBILITY​
  • Team lead must be a current University of Washington student. Additional team members from outside of UW are permitted.

  • The proposed product or idea must be science and/or technology-based.

STS 2021 will be hosted on Remo, check it out!


Schedule For Teams

  •  5:30-7:00pm -  Judges meet with teams

  • 7:00pm - Presentations of pitches

  • 7:30pm - Judges Deliberate and networking night begins

  • 8:30pm -  Presentation of awards

  • 8:45-9:00pm - Networking continues

Remo

STS 2021 is online on Remo!

Remo is a video conferencing platform that simulates an actual conference environment. Use the voice/audio/texting features to interact with people at virtual tables. Perfect for networking and presenting ideas!

Presented by SEBA and the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship of the UW Foster School of Business, the Science & Technology Showcase allows students to explore the commercialization potential of their science- and technology-based ideas.

 

Teams present to an audience of fellow scientists and engineers, MBA students, and a panel of judges that includes prominent entrepreneurs and investors from the Seattle business community.

​

Prizes range from $200 to $2,000Previous winners have gone on to launch startup companies. 

​

STS will be followed by a Networking Hour open to the public where teams may recruit additional members for the Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge, Alaska Airlines Innovation Challenge, and Dempsey Startup Competition.
