Do you have a groundbreaking idea to enact social innovation? If so, don't hesitate to apply to the Social Venture Partners Fast Pitch by June 20. This program is a valuable opportunity to network with other social entrepreneurs, improve your pitch, and receive mentorship and feedback from professionals. 

The Bioscience â€‹Careers Seminar Series is looking for new committee members for the 2017-2018 academic year!

The Bioscience Careers Seminar Series hosts monthly seminars featuring speakers with a PhD in the life sciences and who have pursued non-academic careers. Serving on the Bioscience Careers committee is a great opportunity to expand your professional network and gain leadership experience!

Come pitch your startup at the 2017 Eastside Leadership Conference for a chance to win one of several awesome prizes!

The Tech Pitch & Show is filling up! We still have a few spots left and would love to see any of your tech startups there! As an exhibitor, they have the opportunity to give a three minute, on-stage pitch and they will get a display table to showcase their products. They will also be entered into the People’s Choice Competition, where the audience-voted Best in Pitch & Show exhibitor wins the Grand Prize package.

 

The Grand Prize package will include:

  • In-content coverage from KING 5 on one of their two local programming shows

  • $1500 airfare voucher from Delta

  • 2 hours startup law services consultation with Carney Badley Spellman

  • 1 hour consultation with an experienced investor/entrepreneur

  • Promotion through the Bellevue Chamber’s e-newsletter and social media

  • Other pieces geared towards startups’ needs that will be announced day-of

 

Cost is an affordable $350, and includes a ticket (valued at $125) to attend the full-day event. I’ve included a flyer again for reference that has more information as well as the Showcase Contract so you can register and claim one of the remaining spaces. 

Come Volunteer at Life Science Innovation Northwest! May 23rd and 24th, 2017

This is a great opportunity for those who want to learn more about the Seattle Life Science community, who maybe want to network, and/or get a feel for what science is happening in the Northwest. In exchange for volunteering, you get to attend the conference for free! Volunteer shifts are in 4 hour slots. Additionally, working a shift at LSINW will count towards fulfilling SEBA membership requirements.
